HCvAC provides machinery and vacuum coating processes for 3D parts, which are used in the automotive lighting and interior lighting industries. Reflective coating and hydrophobic coating effect (lotus) technology used in car headlights, taillights and typical indoor lighting.
The portfolio of applications includes sputtering and thermal evaporation of reflective and decorative metallayers with a top coat for corrosion protection applied by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Further applications are color coating via reactive magnetron sputtering, surface engineering of transparent layers, such as wipe-resistant layers and easy-to-clean layers (with a lotus effect), layer stacks for automotive mirrors, and silver layer stacks for the highest reflectance.
